Everyone was obsessed with me after I became the Youngest Princess Favourite - Chapter 23 Part 2
Disciple? Who else came beside me?
The man excitedly walked straight up to me, as if the Duchess was invisible.
“I knew you’d come to me eventually! I didn’t believe it when the Duke said you refused the chance to become a disciple!”
This man, who was screaming with his glistening lavender eyes, seemed a bit out of his mind.
As I recoiled in fear, the Duchess seized him in a hurry.
“Terin! Calm down. It’s not like that, the child was injured and came to seek treatment.”
“What? Treatment? You didn’t come here to be my disciple?”
Only then did the man stop and stared at me.
“Oh, my… Your hurt every time I see you.”
He clicked his tongue and sat me down on the chair. Then he drew something in the air and muttered, and gathered his magic.
Soon, a round sphere of bright light appeared in the air and began to heal by covering the wound.
Seeing my wounds starting to heal quickly with a slight tingling sensation, Terin exclaimed excitedly, “Oh, as expected, it wasn’t my illusion.”
Maybe this was the wizard who erased all the scars on my body. I tilted my head at the completely different process than when I cast healing magic on myself.
‘…Is that a magic circle? Why would a wizard cast such complicated magic?’
Unlike the last time I lost consciousness, I stopped for a moment as I carefully observed the healing of the wounds with healing magic.
‘Come to think of it, divine power didn’t work on me before…’
Since then, I have forgotten because the Duchess has not said anything, but I was worried that there might be a problem again this time.
But that thought did not last long. Before I knew it, the wizards were sitting around me with their glistening.
“She has a great amount of mana, but she lacks social skills.”
“How could this be? It’s really fascinating.”
My ears got hot because of the wizards who kept talking without thinking about the listeners. It was strange that the gazes at me were all twinkling together.
So when the treatment was somewhat over, I grabbed the Duchess’ hem without realizing it.
My curiosity about wizards and the space they reside in has long since flown away.
All that’s left is the desire to escape from these strange wizards who are likely to conduct a dubious experiment on me.
Then, realizing that I was frightened, the wizards hurriedly changed their expressions and acted gently, and began to show things to me.
“Ah, this is mana measuring bead. It looks interesting, right? Do you want to touch it?”
“Oh, don’t be afraid. It’s just like a toy. It’s not going to explode!”
“Hey, that’s scarier.”
“Ah! Would you like to try this? This is a snack candy that I made for over three months and ten days! If you eat this, you won’t have to eat anything for two days!”
“What are you giving to a child who needs to eat a lot of delicious food because she’s still growing up!”
“Don’t you know how to be careful with words? Don’t listen to a guy like that.”
Just when I was completely tired of the frantic fighting of wizards, I heard Terin’s voice.
“Do you like dolls?”
It was unavoidable since I’m in a child’s body, so my ears heated up. I looked up at Terin, making the excuse that I was curious about the dolls made by wizards even though my pride was hurting.
“A doll?”
“I made this for my assistant. Would you like to see it? Well, my lab is on the top of the tower, so it takes time to come down. Would you like to go with me?”
“…”
His voice seemed to entice the child, but I asked sullenly, “Why don’t you use teleport magic? Or you can do summoning magic.”
At that moment, I thought I spoke too childishly, so I hurriedly raised my hands and expressed a summoning of the object.
“Pft…”, The wizards burst into laughter at the sight, and even the Duchess smiled.
Terin smiled lightly as well and said, “It’s childish imagination. However, magic is very difficult. Even if you use attribute magic that suits each person, you have to use your mana efficiently, so you need to concentrate, understand the formula accurately, draw magic circles, and memorize the spells.”
I asked back in bewilderment, “Attribute? Mana? Magic circle?”
Isn’t that unnecessary for wizards? When I learned magic from my master, I only knew how to effectively control mana and do spells.
“…Hey, don’t you just have to cast a spell for magic?”
“Haha. It can’t be! Magic isn’t like an instinct. You have to systematically learn theories and study formulas. If you’re just memorizing spells, even the Imperial Palace Wizard won’t be able to do that. I don’t know.”
Because a genius only appears once in a thousand years! Terin laughed.
I was frozen in thought.
