Imprint Of Count Wolf - Chapter 7
chapter 7
‘They are probably preparing to avoid me scratching Count Arnulf’s body.’ I thought.
When she got out of the bathtub, the maids orderly wiped her body with towels. Then, she sat in front of the mirror, and they rolled her hair up with an iron.
Finally, a shabby wedding dress from the Duke of Aida’s trunk came out. No one pointed out that not even a piece of lace was attached to it, let alone a jewel. There wasn’t a single part of fabric that seemed to doesn’t have any crease. and there were no long trails. The veil was also shorter, like that of a masseuse rather than a bride’s veil.
(masseuse should be a person who provides massage. I don’t know what’s the deal with the massager, but Lisa veil should be within face length, like those in the church)
Lisa was ashamed. Perhaps looking at this, the maids will also know how she was being treated in the Duke’s household.
It hurt her heart a little just thinking about their reactions.
However, the maids remained silent, showing no emotions.
The ivory wedding dress was still made of silk. The lining was very elegant as it fit smoothly into Lisa’s slim body.
Anne said calmly. “You are beautiful.”
“Thank you “
“Count Arnulf has already prepared a veil for you. It is longer than this one.”
“Would you like to use that veil instead? There is also a family heirloom set aside for you.” Anne informed Lisa.
Lisa had a gloomy attitude, but she was actually a friendly person, the maids thought.
“Yeah. Please do that.”
Anne went outside for a while before coming in with two boxes. One contained a long veil that reached the waist that shimmered and translucent like the wings of a butterfly.
“This is a family heirloom from the ancestors of the Arnulf family. ” In the other box was a tiara made of diamonds.
“This is meant for the Countess Arnulf. It has been handed down through generations as it is.”
But Lisa never thought it would be hers. Anyway, the wedding ceremony must be very minimal in all aspects, so it would just be lending the tiara. No harm in accepting for now.
Anne put the veil on Lisa’s head, a tiara was fixed on it. Lisa left the room with a bouquet in one hand, and was led by Anne. Again, footsteps rang in the hallway. The wedding ceremony was to take place in the chapel attached to the castle.
Moonlight penetrated through the stained glass of the chapel ceiling and colored the floor red and blue.
Candles were lit brightly around the altar.
However, there were no guests. Except for the priest in ceremonial uniform and two scribes, there were only four men.
Lisa slightly raised her eyes. It was easy to identify who the groom was.
(ooooh the ml enters the scene.) (っ^▿^)
