Chapter 5

I licked my lips. The man’s eyes looking down at her were coolly bent.

When the news of the victory in the war passed through Yasmine’s area, everyone was excited as if it was festival time. The guys sitting in front of the street gatherings were tilting their glasses and talking about the words they had heard, as if they had seen them, and the storyteller who sat down under the shade of the tree weaved a wonderful heroic story by putting exaggerated embroidery on the rumors.

Except for the addition of a little bluff, there was one big line of stories that men and witty commoners talked about. It was that the longevity of Jo yeon fell down on his neck when he belittled the Young Master of the Jang Family.

Yasmine hurriedly walked through, sending the words floating on the street from one ear to another. Today was the day when the Young General ,who left for the campaign, returned.
