Chapter 8

The Old Lady stood at the side with a decorated thick cane.

Next to the white-haired woman was a young woman dressed in magenta and red silk. When the old lady standing in front of the gate came down the stairs with the young woman, Jeon, who was watching the two people indifferently, got off the horse. Yasmine, who was left alone on the horse, broke out of their bubble and tried to follow him. Jeon stretched out his arm for her to use as a stool to step down when she was trying to come down without even discerning the height gap. 

“You will get hurt, sister be more careful.”

He hugged Yasmine’s staggering waist guiding her down the horse. His support helping  the girl to the ground was like handling a precious glass vase.

Their expressions were extremely gentle. Yasmine looked at the Old Lady’s expression while being held in the arms of the Young General . As expected, as if she didn’t like the current situation, there was a deep crease on her forehead.

“Sister, these clothes do not suit you.” Jeon’s words interrupted her thoughts.

Tsk, an unpleasant word flowed from the mouth of the old lady with her mouth covered.

“Yasmine is two years older than me.”

“ So? Little slaves are full of anger and complaints.”

When the old woman said that, Jeon was clearly angered.

“Yasmine is not a servant. Let me say it in a simpler way.”

He slowly rolled his eyes and looked at the woman next to the old lady.

“She is just like the guest next to grandmother.”

The younger woman’s face crumbled as if she was offended by saying she was the same class as Yasmine. The same was true of the old lady who was clearly unhappy.

“She is a guest but Yasmine just listens to your commands. It is not the same.”

“Isn’t it?”

“It seems like you forgot because you are old, grandmother, but Yasmine did not come as a slave to this house. She is a relative of my grandfather’s old friend.”
