Countess Maid - Chapter 5
Chapter 5
“Are you all right? Are there any injuries? Aren’t you tired, honey?” With tears in her eyes, the Countess continued to ask the Count. The figure of the wife who is not sure what to do with the joy of reunion. However, in Reine’s eyes, it seemed that somehow she could not overcome the fear and was making a fuss.
“Would you like a bath first, Count? Or would you like to eat first? The chef has already prepared a wonderful dinner. Everything that you want…?”
“It’s okay, Pavoli.”
Azer shook his head slowly and said. His long hair gave his face a gloomy impression, and his low, deep voice sounded like the low growl of a wild beast. “I want to rest for a while.”
“Ah yes! Then, let’s go to our room! Everyone, come and see the Count, come on!” The Countess immediately ordered.
The two held hands together and walked across the courtyard
and employees followed suit. With an uneasy expression on her face, Reine also walked with them. *** That night the Counts’ room was quiet. Neither did Raine come in, nor did a strange sound leak out of the room, as the Countess had spent the night with the man. I don’t know if he was tired from the long way home, or if he was just talking about Dorando, but it was a quiet night anyway
Two days passed, and the castle was quiet without any party or event to celebrate the count’s return. It was the same on the morning of the third day.
“What about Pavoli?”
“You said that you would come to your room after getting dressed. Count.” Reine responded with the utmost respect to Azer’s words. You are here because the Countess has ordered you to go and help the Count, leaving the grooming to the other children
“I don’t usually do that.” Recalling the image of the Countess, who always insisted on taking care of her without leaving her side, Reine looked at Azer’s side face. Standing by the window on the other side of the room, looking outside, his face was indifferent without any emotion. The originally blunt person grew darker and looked like a wooden spear
“All of the vassals have already come to the banquet hall. Everyone is waiting for the Count.” “is it.” Azer turned around in reply, muttering. As the eyes under the dark blue long hair turned towards him, Reine flinched involuntarily. Eyes indifferent as if empty without any emotion. But, ironically, his eyes were intense as if piercing his heart. It could be said that he felt an indescribable charisma
“Then I should be ready to leave. Everyone has something to say to you.” Reinde carefully held out the sword in his hand to him as he approached the middle of the room while chanting. The weight of the sword in its sheath was quite heavy, and it was difficult for her to lift it with both hands. But Azer took it and kicked it around his waist with skillful hand movements. It didn’t seem to feel any weight at all. Reine watched as she watched the rough hand with blood on the back of her hand, scarred here and there, tied a leather belt to the scabbard, knotted it, and fastened it to her waist
“Is your name Reine?”
“Yes, Count.” And as soon as he spoke to her, Reine quickly bowed her head and answered.
“You were a child serving Pavoli, perhaps.”
“Yes, Count.” It was surprising that he remembered her name and title. No, it’s surprising when you think about it.
