Duke’s Exclusive Painter - Chapter 12
Chapter 12
After Roselia’s name was mentioned, the chairman’s expression was noticebly paler. It was just that he wanted to change his decision somehow.
Cedric stared intently at the hesitant chairman as if chasing him. The chairman opened his mouth, stuttering.
“Student Roselia has a lot of problems…”
“Problem?”
“Until now, there have been a few, frequent events with patrons and Buddhas. As a result, she had changed sponsors several times.”
The president was now stating how pretty problematic the student Cedric was going to choose was.
When Cedric didn’t say a word, the president looked through the student registry as if trying to prove what he was saying was true, and took the paper and pushed them in front of him. The documents have all the details involving the student “Roselia”.
Roselia had no surname. Judging from this, she seemed to be a commoner who did not have a modest background.
At the same time, the chairman did not see her very well for that reason. Since it was an Empire with a distinct class system, it was a society where people didn’t have a choice but to discriminate between superiors and inferiors.
“I don;t know what’s wrong, but it doesn’t matter.”
Cedric closed the documents listing only meaningless letters. Then, sat cross-legged and calmly conveyed his intentions.
“I want to support this student.”
At his resolute words, the chairman made a face that neither seemed to be laughing or crying. On the other hand, the president relaxed his expression, as if he was happy that the Duke was sponsoring a student attending his academy.
“Then I will call Roselia now. Since you’re going to support her in the future, it would be nice to see her.”
Cedric’s heart, who had never been siber, began to pound. It is true that he had come this far with an intention of supporting her, but I have no plan to meet her in person.
As if accepting his silence as a consent, the chairman immediately told someone to call her. Shortly after waiting, the door to the president’s office opened. Cedric’s gaze that had been wandering aimlessly, naturally turned towards the door.
The first thing that caught my eye was her light brown hair soaked in sunlight, peaking through the window. Next thing that caught his eye were her white skin that contrasted with her hair flowing down to her waist, and her delicate features nestled in her small face, drawing his attention to them. Her face, with its clean colors and soft curves, came in harmony, and was as beautiful as a masterpiece.
She, Roselia, looked just like a painting she painted herself. In a word, she has a face that could attract people.
“Rosalia, say hello and come forward.”
