Hopeless Desire Of A Witch - Chapter 3
Irene quickly gave up. “Sigh~”
It hasn’t been long since she took off the winter clothes, and on a rainy day, the morning was quite chilly. With a saggy yawn, Irene, covered with a blanket, mumbled out of the bed. She was thinking of getting a warm bottle to warm her stomach.
However, in the midst of the sound of being dragged, suddenly, there was a short, annoying noise. It was short, and soft sound, but the footsteps wandering around the house stopped. Irene held her breath and listened. Then the sound came to her ears.
A strange sound was clearly heard through the clear sound of the rain scraping the floor.
“…no one is coming.”
She is living alone, with no family members scheduled to return after going out. No friends to visit with surprised news, and no cats to come after a mouse to bite. Fortunately, even the villagers with whom Irene was close to did not dare come to the house where a woman was living alone.
In other words, there is no reason to be suspicious about this noise in the early morning of the day after a rainy night. Even more so, if it’s a house known for being a witch’s hut.
Although she was abandoned on the grounds that she was of mixed race, the house in which Irene, who had blood of fairies, lived was called the “House of Witch. and the reason was very simple.
Because the one who occupies it was called a witch.
Of course, Irene herself is the witch.
She has already expressed that she is a mixed fairy race, but no one listened to her claim. This was due to the fact that she was far from the normal appearance of the fairies, represented unusually with white skin and exceptionally red lips and hair of blonde or silver and rosy cheeks. Unlike her, with dark black hair.
A young girl with an unusual appearance came into a quiet country village one day. She doesn’t even have a guardian, and became the subject of caution to the natives because she was an outsider. The process of misunderstandings were natural, as she has this unusual appearance.
The villagers who started to take care of her as a little witch, after all she was still a child with nowhere to go. Up till now, still call her a witch even after all these years have passed,
Moreover, they didn’t even walk around the hut, making unsubstantiated claims not to interfere with the witch’s research.
So the witch’s hut was always quiet and secluded. It was usually like that, but today didn’t seem to be that case.
Early in the morning, the next day after it had rained all night, Irene picked up the poker from the fireplace and sneaked to the entrance.
In fact, despite calling her a witch, the attitude of the villagers has been full of goodwill until now. However, there is no way to know when the essence of a person will change. There is nothing wrong with being careful. Rather, it could be a night visitor who misunderstood the time zone rather than the villagers.
