Chapter 47

What’s going on? Cheongwoon quickly forgot to get angry, and was rather worried about her.

From the past till now, when it comes to Haehwa’s tears, he forgot his mood and didn’t know what to do.

“Tell me. You have to talk to me, why the hell are you doing this? I know, did I do anything wrong?”

Finally, for the first time since they both reunited, Haehwa finally looked straight at him.  The feeling of finally seeing each other properly was overwhelming for a moment. But in the eyes of the other facing Cheongwoon, there were drops of resentment and longing tears.

“You’re really too much…I waited for news from Mr. Bang ^[a]everyday. At least make it known that you are still alive. Can’t you send me even a short letter?”

“But there are none!”

It was a good day, so I (Haehwa) promised not to show off any of my feelings, but in the end the resentment I had endured broke out.  He probably has a bigger heart since he came back so well.

Haewha thought that she had a good reason to be angry. He was like that, for six years, I never received any reply from him. Even all the letters I sent came back.

I keep wondering if he was injured or something bad had happened to him.

Haehwa avoided him all day today, despite feeling an endless relief at his return, nevertheless, her unavoidable resentment had always been there.

“If you knew my heart even a little…then surely you won’t! That’s why I keep avoiding you!”

“What’s so difficult about a letter! Sending a single letter wouldn’t have been so difficult.”

“…I’m sorry.”

Was that the reason? By the way, her anger was so obvious. Cheongwoon opened his closed mouth. Every word he said carved out his deep regret. It never crossed his mind because he needed to defeat tens of thousands of enemies.

“I, so I…my heart broke many times because I was afraid you would die.”

After not seeing even a single letter, my heart keeps shaking.
