Chapter 30

“ I would imagine it like that.”

“I thought you wanted to teach me. I had no idea.” she clicked her tongue. In the third mirror, with her arms wrapped around Kagen, she was driving the Count of Ettenburg out of the duke’s mansion. In the fourth mirror, she leaned against him and smiled brightly. It was as if there were no other person in her eyes but him in the world. Come to think of it, Floris had never smiled brightly at Kagen.

“Do not ask any more. please.” In the fifth mirror, she was hanging on to him and having an unfamiliar love affair. Even if there was no sound she was happy wriggling at him and desperately wanting him. She really felt it while doing it.

Floris spoke calmly, without even getting nervous. “Didn’t you mingle your body with mine last night? It’s not like you to desire something that has already been accomplished.”

“It didn’t work.”

“The princess was just giving me a reward. You didn’t want me voluntarily at all.”

“You put up with your presumptuousness because you saved me.” Floris said coldly. “I will continue to be patient with you, but know that I am not that patient.”

“I persevered all three years.”

“Patience towards the master is natural, so I am sorry. it’s not worth paying. Well then.” her eyes turned from the five mirrors then  glanced at him, and looked at him indifferently. “Which of these do you want the most? You know..”

“I don’t know.” Floris sighed and rubbed her forehead.

“They are all things I don’t have and I can’t even think of a way to have them.”

“you…….” She shoots like she doesn’t understand.

“Do you not want your negligence, the position of the knights commander, wealth and honor? Am I the only one?”

“It’s just like what you already have.”

“All you have to do is return to the capital, show your magic swordsman’s abilities, and show off the monster’s heart. And the Duke put half of the Duchy on her rescuer. The princess may not know it, but the number of people who lost their lives by jumping into the monster’s castle cannot be counted.”

Floris bit her lower lip and glared at him. Kagen lowered his eyes and said, “As long as there is no food problem, I would want to leave.”

“You are crazy.”

“Even if you and I are here for the rest of our lives, it’s okay.”

“Move.” Frustrated with his face, who didn’t even have the will to think about which of the five he really wanted the most, Floris pushed Kagen away from the crystal ball.

“It is an order. Close your eyes.” She took a deep breath and, with trembling hands, placed her palm on the crystal ball. Floris looked through the five mirrors one after the other with her sunken eyes.

The first mirror was the Duke Oscar.
