Chapter 36
The Duke also returned rather early. Compared to before, it was almost a full moon, so this was a quick return. Most of the Duke’s winter hunting was intertwined in the beginning and ending of the severe cold. It was the job of the Duke’s people to shoot through the wood like a man who had been crazy for almost three weeks, and to collect the prey piled up in the hunting forest after he returned.
(full moon – should be a full month.)
The Duke who was supposedly sleeping in the forest alone, returned from the winter hunt. In the meantime, people of all sexes used to hold their breath in order not to go against his orders.
The Duke’s madness began more than a decade ago. From then on, he went into the woods and continued hunting alone.
A huge gate opened wide and the owner of the castle stepped inside while riding a horse. As it was the day he left from the winter hunt, he wasn’t wearing his knight armor. However, the Duke did not only return by himself.
“Why do you look like you have seen a ghost?”
As Rasiel slowly inquired, the people of Icanus looked at the elongated thing on the horseback, embraced in his arms. But no one dared to ask what it was.
The same was true when he jumped off the horse and held the woman back in his arms. They could ask him questions when they first reached the castle.
There was no one in the castle that did not look upon the woman’s figure, wondering whether she was still moving. Their eyes were filled with curiosity as to whether she was dead or alive. Of course, they were curious as to who she was.
“This is my prey.”
Has he caught people while hunting? Someone even sneaked into the Duke’s hunting forest. The question of whether that was enough for him to kill or why was she brought to the castle rose in each of their faces. Among them, there were also maids turning their heads gently to see the woman’s face.
Anway, it was unusual for the Duke to return with a woman in his arms.

The woman in the Duke’s arms has a bloodless face, her clothes covered in blood. There was no way to know whether or not she was still breathing. Even so, she was asleep in the arms of the Duke in a fairly peaceful manner. Then they saw a piece of cloth wrapped around her ankle drenched with reddish water.
Leaving behind what countless people thought, Rasiel went up to his bedroom at once. The servants and maids who attended to him naturally followed. Everyone followed at his attention, nervously looking at his behavior they had never seen before.
The maid quickly opened the door to this bedroom. The Duke entered the room, walked to the bed, and laid the woman down as if throwing the woman over. I felt very cautious, it was an uninterrupted act. It was quite different when I brought the woman in my arms.
A sour sound emanated from the woman’s mouth on the fluffy bed. “She’s alive.”
Someone muttered a little and took a quick breath.
What the Duke does after leaving the woman in bed was more bizarre. He sat down on his own bed, with his chin on his hand he looked down on the woman like it was a habit.
“I think she was hurt.” The maid watching by his side spoke.
“Know.” Rasile’s mouth was finely stretched. He seemed to be very pleased with the whole piece of hunted prey he had just brought.
He waited for the prey he had just caught to awaken and tasted her like a beast again.
The moment the prey opened her eyes, he confirmed of her flurrying pulse, and he seemed like a beast that came rushing to take a bite. However, it was unexpected words that came out of the Duke’s mouth.
“Wash and heal.” “Yes.”

The maid did not say anything and beckoned to the other maids he brought. Some of the maids went to get bath water, and the others went to find the doctor.
Meanwhile, the Duke went to speak to the woman and did not take his eyes off her.
“Would you like to wash first? or have a meal?” “Call the doctor…”
He fixed his eyes on the girl and told her.
“Let’s take a bath.”
As he spoke he turned his head back and forth and returned his gaze back on her. And added while looking back at the woman laying on the bed.
“Fix her neatly.”
“Yes. And a messenger from the Royal Palace came.” “And the content is?”
“Come to the Palace as soon as the hunt is over. Although it finished earlier compared to the previous year, I don’t care. The King is looking for you, so you have to wave your tail and just do as you’re told.”
Ariste opened her eyes with a terrible thirst. Unlike When I woke up after fainting at the hut, the first thing I felt was the pain in my head. It was only after a long period of insufferable pain did she barely recall her last memory…
