Amoral Heir - Chapter 27
Chapter 27
Claudia thought, maybe it was because of that painting that he ended up heading for ‘baby’. She gently placed her hand on my stomach. already several times, no, dozens of times. Cassius planted seeds inside her body. Both of them were healthy, so it was clear that they would probably have a baby.
‘If I give birth to a child, then they’ll let me go.’
Ever since she was held by him, Claudia thought it obligatory to flee from him beneath her. The thought, a little obsessive, as if it had to be, always made Claudia uncomfortable.
‘That’s how it should be, I’m less sorry to the dead Cassius.’
At that moment, Cassius, who had escaped from under the negligee, spoke to her.
“What are you thinking so deeply?”
Perhaps it was a little hot, so he unfastened a couple of buttons and rolled up the sleeves by three or four hems. His forearms, as if carved from marble, were revealed. At that moment, Claudia’s eyebrows narrowed. She lost. She felt something strange.
‘Always, he’s wearing clothes.’
Cassius lay down beside her. Lying on his side facing Claudia, he supported his head with his left hand, his right hand combing Claudia’s hair slowly. He was examining Claudia’s expression with his eyes narrowed, as if he could guess what she was thinking.
“Huh? Come on, answer me, Claudia.”
“Just.”
“Just what.”
Even without seeing him directly, she knew he was staring at him. Claudia muttered weakly, closing her eyes as if she wanted to run away from his gaze.
“It’s just… I wish I had gotten pregnant sooner rather than later.”
“Have you finally made up your mind?”
In response to Claudia’s answer, an indescribable joy was revealed in Cassius’ voice. But she’s the opposite of him. She replied in a still weak voice.
“If I give birth to a child and give it to you, then I think I can be free.”
At that moment, his hands, which were as natural as flowing water, stopped. A heavy silence lingered between the two. Claudia carefully lifted her eyelids and looked at the ceiling again. Then she quietly held her breath. For some reason, she felt like she couldn’t face him. Basically, Cassius was kind to Claudia. But very rarely, there was a time when she created a cheap atmosphere like this.
At such times, he always holds her like punishment. Claudia looked at him, as if she had just learned.
“You seem to be mistaken about something, Claudia.”
It seemed that her guess was right. He was pretending to be nice, but, sure enough, his voice had dropped significantly. He started combing her hair slowly again. The soft touch reached the ends of her hair and changed. Cassius grabbed Claudia’s red hair very carefully and lifted it up and buried it in his nose.
After running, he took a deep breath as if inhaling her body odor, and continued. “I don’t want children. That’s what you want.”
It was no different from saying that he would not let her go, whether or not he had children. In that, Claudia’s planting was blunt. She knew there would be no benefit in provoking him, but she opened her mouth nonetheless.
“But I am Cassius’ fiancée.”
Her dry voice, as if speaking aloud, constantly warned herself not to forget that fact, repeating it over and over again.
It felt like writing. Cassius frowned dangerously.
“Yes, you are my bride.”
He speaks clearly and forcefully, as if It was like claiming ownership of her. Claudia said firmly. “Don’t treat me like an object. I won’t say anything more about you living as Cassius. But please don’t erase his traces from me.”
He looked at Claudia with a mysterious look. He looked up and smiled as if he were drawing. It’s as if you cleverly seduce a wary child and get the answer you want.
