Chapter 4 

“The true owner of this castle, my love, my Duke! He finally returned! Let’s have a toast! Everyone, welcome the Duke without a shortage.”

Bang! Bang!

I heard the sound of thunderbolts in the dry sky. I wanted to find true peace here now, but there is no eternal happiness. Silvia only enjoyed a month of peace, and the true owner of the Duke Castle has returned.

Duke Victor Aswan.

He was a man of low birth that was given a position as the Duke because of his killing powers. In the Pritra Empire he was very famous. However, there was a rumour that the Duke was ugly. I heard that there was a long scar on his cheek, but there wasn’t. His hair, which was covered by blood and dirt, looked a little dirty, but his nose was straight and his skin was smooth.

In fact, there was not much to see to accurately judge his appearance. Victor’s face was half-covered by his dirty shaggy hair.

Sylvia did not try to look too closely at his face, she just gently laid her eyes down. In all circumstances, she was still resolute, but sadly, her throat was dry. She had to think how to survive. Because the owner of the Duke Castle is Victor Aswan.

Victor somehow didn’t question Sylvia’s status. 

I knew i had to get him out of his anger right away, but instead, he didn’t say anything and just headed straight to the dinning hall. 

Seeing that he was not surprised, he seemed to have heard the news about Sylvia even before he entered the country.

Sylvia looked for the possibilities.

Maybe Victor likes her. He likes her pretty face, so he wasn’t upset even though she pretended to be his wife all this time.

I blew away the first possibility and thought more for a while.
