Sylvia thought for a moment, and blew off the first possibility. Victor didn’t seem to be interested in her at all. He was soaked in blood and smelled like a peasant, and he ate rice without even taking a bath. 

I want to look like a good cooperating friendly woman, but I can’t eat like that.

Victor put the thick steak in his mouth without cutting it properly. He didn’t make any noise, but he didn’t look very elegant either. The silver tableware that Sylvia used was just too small in his hand.

Sylvia measured other possibilities. The reason why Duke Victor Aswan did not drive the intruder who had been crashing inside the Duke Castle is…

Maybe it’s because he doesn’t have to drive me out.
