Chapter 1.

The person I admire

Thump! Thump thump-! 

A forest in deep darkness. The heavens and earth seemed to shake from the movement of the giant monster. Something out of a nightmare was chasing her. Eileen ran desperately to avoid the guy.

 ‘Scary.’

Under my crying eyes, I was out of breath and my vision was dizzy. My legs lost strength and I stumbled several times, but I couldn’t stop walking. I tried to pull myself together, but I couldn’t help the fear that was gnawing at my spirit. 

In the pomegranate- red fairy’s eyes, beautiful tears formed and disappeared into the darkness with the wind. A beautiful fairy. Even when comparing the demon world and the heavenly world, the fairy world was considered the most beautiful in the world. However, there was someone who felt bored in the peaceful and happy fairy world every day. That was Eileen Peach, a fairy born from a peach blossom. Her only pleasure was to hear news from the human world. The fairy world was famous as a retreat for demons and angels. Eileen always stayed in an inn that sold honey wine to tourists and listened to the stories of human adventure and love told by angels and devils. Angels and demons, who regard the fairy world as a neutral ground, gather there to meet the humans they used to talk about.

A devil and an angel sat around a round wooden table. Among them, the devil, who had taken a sip of the refreshing honey liquor, put down the heavy glass with a thud and spoke. 

“Humans have short lifespans and are humble, but sometimes great people emerge.”

“That’s right. A great talent may emerge once a century, but there is divinity in the heart of every human being.”

The angel holding a honey martini responded to the devil’s words. The rest, regardless of species, agreed with that opinion. Another excited demon spoke as if he were telling a heroic story. 

“That’s right. Among the souls I collected, there was an emperor who commanded an empire!” 

“Ah, half of the people of the empire said they would live forever. The idiot who dedicated it? I only collect souls who have given everything to love. That foolish and lovely passion can only be felt by humans.”

“You can only get it from there.”

Next, various comic- like stories flowed out, such as a man who sacrificed his soul to save his parents and a man who sacrificed himself to kill his cheating lover. The demons seemed to have no time to rest as they boasted about the human souls they had collected. The angels who were watching this soon clicked their tongues as if they were tired of it. 

“Anyway, what are demons? Humans are the most beautiful beings when they are alive.” 

“That’s right. The sizes are different, but they are all like burning flames.”

The angels talked about how faithful and special humans were. A woman who faithfully followed God and sacrificed herself saved the empire, was recognized for its divinity, and headed to heaven. There were many other people who followed God and performed miracles. 

There were many who gave their soul to the devil to fulfill their desires.But those who devoted themselves to a special wish were only human. The only species that lives such a colorful and diverse life like a firework is humans. The devil and the angel spoke together. A table where people were being discussed became quiet for a moment. Everyone’s eyes are on the waiter who never leaves the table. Pink hair that goes down to the waist. The red eyes were like particularly darkly colored flower leaves. The young fairy, who had a particularly small body and transparent skin, was famous even among devils and angels. It wasn’t because of her pretty and cute appearance. Her fame was due to her unique nature of admiring humans. 

“It’s really cool!”

Eileen clasped her hands together and her eyes sparkled. Adventure, fantasy, and beauty
