The bride of the white night - Chapter 17
Chapter 17
As she slipped, Aisa’s body collapsed into the bathtub.
The water in the bathtub wobbled and spilled out. Fortunately, Aisa was able to stop her head from plunging into the water. It wasn’t because of her quickness or strength. That was hard to expect from Aisa. It was the Archduke’s outstretched arm that held her body firmly. Even with all her weight, the man’s arms looked full of room. Aisa slowly shook her head. His face approached in front of her.
The man’s low voice wet her ears. “Your expression is very bad.” My lower abdomen was still warm
He just grabbed what was about to fall. I just heard his voice, sweeter than I expected. But what is this? As she was wet again, Aisa was stunned. Fortunately, it has been submerged in water and completely wet so she might not be detected.
Aisa turned away from her shameful body and pushed the Archduke away. “Your precious clothes will get wet. So let it go!”
Aisa’s words paused as the Archduke hugged her tightly. Water splashed in all directions.
“Come on, wait!”
But the Archduke did not listen to Aisa. He took off his cloak and wrapped around her body with the very clothes she was worried about getting wet. He said, hugging Aisa and making eye contact. “It’s already wet. So it doesn’t matter.”
Drops of water that had pooled on Aisa’s chin dripped onto his collarbone. “Did I… not say it properly?”
“What do you mean?”
She thought she said it clearly. It was because Aisa was so restless towards the end of the wedding night. She thought she should have said it sooner, but honestly she thought she was lucky enough to be able to confess even then, before she lost consciousness.
Had Aisa known this would be the case, she would have rather confessed at the wedding. The priest and the two countries where people lined up. She bring herself to do it in front of everyone, so she gave up. Instead, Aisa decided to confess first when she was left alone with the person who would become her husband.
Asia didn’t know that she would be late because she fell asleep and woke up so absorbed in the sexual act.
Still, she thought it was good to talk. Because she didn’t want to deceive her husband. And since she wanted to annul this marriage, But now what is the situation? It was difficult to understand why her husband, who had already heard her confession, did not cast her out immediately.
Rather than being kicked out, is it that he directly wipes her himself and puts her in fine pajamas and lays her on the bed? So this was the conclusion Aisa reached.
‘Did I… I didn’t speak properly?’
During the wedding night, Aisa was barely sane. Especially when she barely spoke the secret, she was on the verge of losing her mind.
Considering that she was so thirsty now, it must have been even worse back then. She thought she might not have said it properly. Or maybe the Archduke couldn’t understand properly. If she closed her mouth now, she could pass it off as if it didn’t happen… But Aisa didn’t want to.
After taking a few deep breaths, she tried again to refine her voice and speak. This time to make it sound right. so that he knows right away what he needs to know.
“I… had a night out with another man before we got married. I was going to tell you that at the beginning of the night…”
