The bride of the white night - Chapter 5
Chapter 5
Nothing could be properly made out. She seemed to have gone blind. There was nothing to see, but it was clear that something very strange was going on right in front of her.
“- growl!” – Creep! This is because all senses, except for sight, conveyed various information, such as the sound of animals tangled in fights, the smell of blood, and the sound of a liquid being sprayed on the floor. One thing was certain. A huge beast of some kind was slaughtering the wolves that ran after her.
– Crumple……! Finally, after the wolf’s cries subsided on the floor, Aisa realized. Now in the dark there was something between her and the wolves.
There was something, someone, that caught them and killed them. He was so focused on her that his gaze stung. The intense tension made my body stiffen, and fear rushed up to the end of Aisa’s throat. Then, something ran towards her.
“Ah!” Aisa fell helplessly back and was crushed. It was a very quick and sudden movement. Even fragments of moonlight were rare because of the clouds, so it was difficult for Aisa to tell exactly what she had seen. At the end of her shaky vision, it was as if she had seen the eyes of a beast that was shining yellow. It was as if she had seen a beast covered in gray fur with its blood-soaked fangs exposed.
Or, it was like seeing a man. It was as if she had seen all of this, because she hadn’t seen anything properly. But one thing was certain. Aisa realized it immediately after being laid on the floor and being crushed by a weight that she couldn’t easily resist. It was a human hand holding her shoulder and holding it down. His hair, apparently human, touched the nape of her neck and tickled her.
‘Person? Isn’t that a beast?’ Was she so afraid and startled that she mistook humans for beasts? It could be, she thought. Aisa was in trouble. Should she say thank you for saving her first, or should she first say to let go of her arm when it hurts? Then, he moved first.
The man’s breath touched her thin neck. Hot, moist, yet soft to the touch of the lips.
“Ah!”
Under the man, Aisa trembled as if struck by lightning. She instinctively realized what this man wants, the most rudimentary and filthy desire. That fact gave her terrifying fear. “Oh, no…!” She was about to shake his head and refuse when Aisa’s eyes met the man’s. Although the moonlight was faint, the man’s eyes were clearly recognizable. Because it was shining even in the dark. Like a wild beast. Eyes shining yellow in the dark.
It was too foreign to be human. No words could describe the subtle color of gold or amber. There was even a light red energy at the tip of the color that got closer to gold as it got closer to the edge. The moment their eyes met, Aisa seemed to be possessed by something. The fear that had shaken her whole body had disappeared like snow. The man whispered in a low voice. A sound that resembles the growl of an animal. “My moon.”
The voice seemed to have a sense of touch rather than hearing it. With a warm temperature and a damp feel, it seemed to cover her whole body. And it felt like it penetrated deep into her body. Aisa was captivated by a foreign sensation.
