Duke’s Exclusive Painter - Chapter 41
Chapter 41
As Cedric said, they did live together for a short while before. So, living again under the same gold roof was not so awkwards. Rather, since there is no set period this time, they will feel the existence of each other more clearly.
Early in the morning, Roselia woke up and hurriedly checked the pocket watch on the bedside table.
The direct hour and minute hands were pointing just before 730 am. The time that would already be considered late for Roselia. She hurriedly came down from her bed, and after changing into casual clothes, she left the bedroom.
The maids found Roslia walking down the stairs in a hurry and greeted her politely. Roselia would normally cringe at their greeting because of her shyness, but today, she doesn’t have time for that.
Roselia reached the front of the dining hall and brushed her hair with her frantic hand. Now, I touched some of my brittle hair. This is when I realized that when I woke up, I did not spare time to look in the mirror. She felt like crying because of this.
Roselia then straightened her hair and checked to see if there was any dirt in her eyes. Finally, after tidying up her messy dress, she opened the door to the dining hall.
Unlike her, who was in a hurry, the dining hall was as peaceful as any other morning. She could see the maids coming out one by one, bringing food and putting them on the table. The maid Marsha laid down the fragrant tea in front of Cedric, who was sitting at the head of the table, reading the newspaper with today’s date.
The scene of Cedric drinking his tea, while being served by Marsh is like a picture from a masterpiece. This is all about coolness. 90% of this is all thanks to his handsome looks. Roselia never said it before, but Cedric had such a decent look that she just couldn’t take her eyes off him. Even the sunlight penetrating through the window cant be removed by any special purpose.
He was a man who made me feel “captivated by a splendor” that could be seen day and night. Roselia stood blankly by the doorway. On the other hand, Cedric, who was reading the newspaper, lifted his eyes.
“You are up.”
His soft bass voice was sweet enough to awaken all of her sleepiness. Roselia came back to her senses and approached him. As she sat down next to the head, Marsh put down a fork and a knife in front of her with amazing timing.
