Hopeless Desire Of A Witch - Chapter 14
Chapter 14
Seeing Irene’s eyes, the middle-aged man coughed, and his face changed slightly. Even so, Irene felt slightly depressed because she didn’t want to look like a witch. She didn’t want to be born with a face like this.
“I heard that there is a girl in this house. A 5 or 6 years old girl with purple eyes and silver hair.”
“So?”
The depression was brief, but no matter who listened, Irene’s voice became sharper at the words describing Eirene.
“I want to check the belongings that the girl had. We are obliged for you to cooperate with us.”
No matter how sharp Irene, the man bluntly finished what he had to say, as if he did not feel any sympathy. He straightened his back, thinking that she would obey his will, of course.
Irene looked at the middle-aged man. His attitude towards irene was overbearing, but not arrogant. He was sure that she would agree with what he just said, but this arrogance as a nobleman was not rooted in. The man’s confidence seemed to lie slightly for a different reason.
Irene’s gaze slowly moved back. The knights in pure white uniforms, which seemed to be a problem if it happened to be stained with dust, stood behind the man without taking a single breath. They were perfectly disciplined.
The man guarded by the knights didn’t seem like an ordinary nobleman. No rather, they seemed to be protecting him…
Irene’s eyes narrowed. Behind the knights, a silver chariot led by six white horses stood dazzlingly.
Irene’s gaze was fixed on the flag hoisted in the carriage, which looked to be intended to pick up a VIP. A familiar wings and sword were embroidered with a silver thread in a purple background. Aha.
“Really, I know you risked your excuses, but I’m happy you’d be here.” “…yeah?”
Her hair was not combed, so it kept falling off. Irene lazily brushed her hair back and smiled softly. Then, the man’s speech was blocked by an urgent and unexpected and outrageous rebuke.
“It looks like the order was in reverse. I guess it’s more urgent to check the belongings than the child of a noble?”
“So, find out for yourself whether my sister is the abandoned daughter of your respective owner. I don’t know why they left her, but now, they were looking for her.”
Yes, she turned around, pouring out her range at the four men with stiff faces. They didn’t even want to see the child, and she didn’t want to show Eirene to those who were looking for evidence first. Irene furiously tried to close the door.
